Josephine Dalman, 92, of Du Bois, passed away at 11:34 a.m., Saturday, January 1, 2005 at the Friendship Nursing Home in Nashville.
Josephine was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois. She was a member of the Living Rosary and the St. Theresa Altar Sodality of the church.
She was born April 16, 1912 at Posen, Ill. the daughter of Ignatz and Julia (Kuberski) Rybacki.
She married John L. Dalman on June 14, 1932 at Posen. He passed away November 25, 1983.
She is survived by two sons- Casimir Dalman of Du Bois, Michael Dalman and wife Sue of Tamaroa, four daughters- Christine Ritter of Du Quoin, JoAnn Holzhauer and husband Raymond of Nashville, LaVerne Restoff and husband Eugene of Scheller, Sharon Frederking and husband Jon of Nashville, four sisters- Regina Wisnewski of Nashville, Cecilia Kania of Nashville, Frances Pokorney of Nashville, Christine Reidelberger and husband Robert of Tamaroa, one brother- Pete Rybacki and wife Pearl of Pinckneyville, two sisters-in-law- Shirley Rybacki of Pinckneyville, Clara Rybacki of St. Louis, Eighteen grandchildren and Twenty nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- Ralph Dalman, son-in-law- Corky Ritter, three brothers- Joseph, Vincent and John Rybacki, one sister- Mary Rybacki.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois with Msgr. Melvin Vandeloo officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.
Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Church Fund or to the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
